Park City in the fall is a training paradise.

Mountain bike and trail running options are plentiful and the rollerskiing terrain provides a mix of long, gradual hills, steep FIS-homologated courses, and rural flats.

After spending a week there last October, I determined the location is worthy of an annual stop, particularly after discovering a quiet, free place to park the van central to all of these amenities. (A brief sidenote: I’m fairly convinced Grand Junction is capable of providing many of these same things late in the fall, when other places tend to have rough weather. In fact, Park City is capable of dropping some unwanted snow, as happened near the end of our training stay).

As if I didn’t need another reason to try and host some Seder-Skier Podcasts on the road, there’s this: Klaebo will be in town.

After investigation, it appears the Norwegian star is making a visit from the end of August-September. I wonder why he’s chosen to come all the way to America for a visit? There’s obviously altitude options in Europe …

Hopefully his recent injury doesn’t prevent the trip from happening, and hopefully I can track him down on the roads, should I venture his direction.
